I love Forged in Fire! I am such a fan of the show but I do wonder where do the judges get the idea that it is okay to submit the contestants hard and beautiful work to some of these brutal tests....making an edged weapon to whack it on stuff like steel nails or metal frames? I mean, come on. Yes, a great knife should prove durable, but if I needed to separate a metal frame, I'm pretty sure that a knife would not be my preferred tool of choice. I would love to see an episode where the judges have to make a weapon to endure some of the as I see it, some unreasonable abuse of their weapons testing.
