Only good part of the movie was the mocking/joke with a narrator dog character. Otherwise was a steaming pile of $hit. Basically the movie just throws everything at the wall and tries to see what sticks. Terrible to watch because it felt like a bunch of thick skulled college bachelors were stuffed into these dogs then set loose to just constantly curse while filling themselves with chemical substances.

Dr Morbius was true to himself throughout the entire movie even as his body changed. Enjoyed how it didn't try to throw so much on the screen you cannot focus - because the focus is entirely on Dr Morbius. Special effects didn't distract and added so much beauty and emphasis on what exactly was happening! When speeds changed, colors and particles changed making sure everyone knew exactly what was happening. The effects also give us a window in how a vampire may experience additional senses - like the wind, vibrations, smells & intent, etc. I didn't walk away from the Origin story with questions - besides wondering what more Morbius can bring as a villain/neutral power. Origin was simple in story, straight forward in events, and entertaining for the 1st watch - exactly as I like it. We don't need everything to be full of surprises for it to be good.

Loved it, laughed, and had tears from joy as well as the heart break found throughout. Was one of the first few anime I've watch and had successfully brought me to tears!

Loved it! A unique style of anime with an impressive narrative to it. If one doesn't read spoiler reviews it can throw one for an unexpected twist! It is one for adults though so don't show this one to young kids unless you want them having nightmares.

Update Review May 2020: Much less whinny, patronizing, and monotone then before. Delivery is better, it can be informative while mocking things, but it is not something I would watch every day. I did really enjoy "PragerU Wants You! (To Become a Conservative)" segment. Jokes rolled off smoothly. Old Review Prior May 2020 : Nothing witty about the "jokes", jabs, or satire (if there truly is any) in most of the segments. A lot of it is like a monotone monologue on a news network with inserts of weird non relate-able connections, connections that don't add to any comedy. Any variation of tone actually created is frequently whinny and patronizing. I'd much rather watch someone who can do the quirky and satirical comedy in the field like Desi Lydic can, as it may or may not be Desi making things awkwardly hilarious.
