Just watched The Smashing Machine starring The Rock — what a letdown. 🎬 Depressing tone, mixed messaging, and a messy script with bad angles and uneven direction. The Rock’s performance felt flat and lacked emotional punch. After all the buildup, the ending payoff was weak and unsatisfying. The 1st Act of Rocket Man was quite slow and boring. The 2nd and 3rd Act was well done, and made up for the weak opening. Overall it’s a good film, but not a must see. I recommend you watch it on demand in comfort of your own home in a few weeks.

Action packed series and well casted. The father and daughter chemistry was amazing. It’s going to be very tough to capture that chemistry for a second season.
