Knowing a CODA, I really liked the portrayal with grace and humour of the huge, onerous (and sometimes inappropriate) responsibilities they are required to undertake as children. I felt the movie did a good job of being accessible to a hearing audience whilst trying to portray the world of those who are profoundly deaf. Not an easy line to tread. Kudos to the directors and scriptwriters for even attempting this difficult feat and managing to make a sweet, funny thought-provoking movie! Well worth watching.
