This show reflects a negative image of Black men. I expected a poor image of the black family. But, the only key black male actor hates his wife, abandons his children, and is gay. Not that being gay is bad but what was the purpose of that; it had nothing to do with the storyline. It's like they just threw it in there. That subconscious message could be dangerous for young black males as well as tarnish the perception of black men for others. As this show reflects good and bad images of white males, it reflects only bad images of black men. Imagery and perception are powerful. This show had the potential of being a good soap opera but .....
