I loved season 1 but season 2 felt out of steam, repeating itself, too violent, with lots of annoying new characters, so I would have stick to just one season if I had known

The blunt of the story is never made clear. Is it the romance, the scandal, the upcoming film, the treason of the actress? The idea is of no interest to me, Miss Portland is as blend as an arrogant radish and the whole thing was utterly boring to me, maybe the book is better.
