Viewed again after the passage of fifteen years, my reaction to this film is just as positive as it was when it was released. It is a classic. Kudos to Taylor Hackford and the whole cast and crew. Having been privileged to have been one of the many hundreds of millions of world-wide adoring fans of Mr. Charles during his lifetime, who experienced a bit of his musical genius in its real-time genesis, this movie is as good a tribute as it gets to his life and legacy.
