Naaa, I was so excited to watch it cause I thought it would be like the prequel, to all the boys I’ve ever loved, and I was so excited to see kitty’s love story, but sadly it was so cringe, from episode 1, too fast, everything just happening so fast, one moment kitty in America the next 20min she’s in Korea, finding out her bf aint are bf, like so fast, it’s a episode drama not a film, feels Like they were seriously in a hurry to end the drama. I love movies that have the ability to make you visualize that everything is happening right before your eyes, but Xo kitty wasn’t, I’m actually disappointed. I hope I don’t get bored and I’m able to finish, cause I’m already bored .

I normally don’t write reviews, or watch this sort of movie cause it’s not really in my genre, but after seeing it received a standing ovation at its screening, I just had to know, and I’m glad I watched, it was a powerful story line and well presented by Brendan Fraser, shows how much of an amazing actor he is, as well as Sadie’s. A phenomenal performance. This movie draw me in , emotionally and mentally. It was worth the watch 👏👏.

I’ve actually not watched dark so I never watched this series with a biased mindset. All I’ve got to say it was complex, really too complicated and complex for an average mind, it seemed intriguing dragging you in at the beginning, then tells you nothing, everything was just so complex and disorderly, after watching to the last episode and expecting some kinda relief it only got worst. Matrix kinda setting but damn too complicated, I kept falling into hoops while watching, I was intrigued sometimes, immediately bored at others then exhausted later, I just had to finish cause I wanted to know if the end would change my mind. But I tell u if you’re average like me you’ll need an aspirin while watching this cause I assure you, your head’s gonna be spinning 😩

Watching it for the 2 time, I loved the drama but I feel the writer was a bit heartless and made duk Im reject the yi San so much it became heartbreaking. Still can’t understand why she didn’t wanna fight for her love for him and why the writer made her say unfair words to him. In all I loved the drama but I can’t help but look at it like a tragic one sided love story of yi San. Especially to the fact that duk Im till the end never expressed her love back to the king. If that’s not selfish I wonder what is .

This is my first ever review, I couldn’t help myself I just had to. I never really read the book, I actually watched cause of Lee min Ho, but I’m here to say this drama was a roller coaster ride, I’ve never felt so many emotions while watching a drama, I could feel the pain of each character, this drama is really a work of art. I hope a next season comes soon. I can’t forget episode 3 and 7, 😭😭. I’m so emotional. This drama deserves to be well recognized. It not only showed the families, it also talked about the Japanese occupation and earthquake that happened. Which I never knew of. As an African from Nigeria I only always thought mostly the Africans suffered for independence. It’s enlightening to see that Koreans also went through the same and also the Japanese went through their pain during the earthquake. It makes me realize whether African, Asian, American, Middle Eastern,European , Australian. We are all humans, we all feel pain and have a story to tell. I hope we realize that we need to all work together and put aside all differences and ethnicity and religion and love each other to make this world a happier place 🙏🏽

Loved the movie Always loved the protagonist actor and the antagonist actor too. But this story line just made me view kdramas in a different light Shows religion not just as religion itself but faith in greater being Before watching this movie , was going through some self doubts, but this movie spoke to me. I don’t need to know why God does the things He does, I just need to understand that whatever he does is to give us a peaceful end
