It wasn't terrible, I just can't think of anything that was really great about it.

The last episode of two were pretty good, but not too sure about the first few. It all felt a bit empty

This movie is everything DC fans wanted. High stakes, fully realized characters, good pacing of the story, interesting plot points which are fully developed, and most importantly, a dedication to giving the much-beloved heroes their due on screen. All the heroes were actually given time to be likeable and moments that allowed us to marvel at their ability. The villains were genuinely menacing and well thought out. The lurking presence of Darkseid was a true threat. Steppenwolf had a lot more oomph than he did in the theatrical cut. The movie felt right. Dark and intense and serious. Which is what dealing with a threat to our whole existence should actually feel like. Not quippy and light-hearted. It was really the Justice League movie we were all denied four years ago.

Some moments were so tragic in such an understated way... and when she said “don’t let me fall asleep”, I almost shed tears. The subtlety of the sadness was just amazing. And I felt this movie deeply.

Wow, is what i thought and felt. It really does look amazing, and is totally worth paying to see on the big screen. I felt it was definitely engaging for all of the two and a half hours, and it never felt like the story was dragging. There were several sub-plots, and some people will say they were too many but I felt like they just added layers to the characters and fit together well. There wasn't anything too ground breaking in the story, but it wasn't a bore. The definitive star of the movie though is the visuals. So well done! So creative, and breathtaking at times. The movie as a whole was fun and totally worth it. It felt like all the actors bought in, and delivered strong performances. Good job, James Wan and DC
