John Lemon Megan & Sara are absolutely right. The police had to intervene with deadly force because the girl with the knife was in motion to stab the other girl. Police cannot shoot to wound because if they had shot the knife bearer in the leg, she could still fall or lunged forward and stabbed the the other girl. The girl should have stayed in her group home, waited for the police and not came out with a knife. Bullying needs to stop! It seldom ends well for the victim or the one doing the bullying. We should not persecute a policeman that’s actually protecting and serving. There are too many bad police but not all police are bad!
