This story truly captures the essence of love and how powerful love can compel two loving but desperate people to make a life-changing decision - resulting in more than one life changed. The storyline of the film is accurately close to the original narrative by M.L Stedman, however; in some parts towards the end of the film, some key events are too briefly conveyed. Overall, I highly recommend watching this film on a rainy day, as the love captured in the story will surely warm the heart and soul. I also recommend reading the book before or after watching the film, to allow some parts of the plot to become clearer.
