A book of almost perpetual doubt and paranoia. Just when you think you've grasped it's true story, it reveals hard hitting details and hidden depths. Ordered with attention to detail and a breadcrumb trail of subtle clues, it's both a book that captures your curiosity, and calculates it's tension. For a time while I was reading, I experienced Japan, it's people, culture, and atmosphere and the cross between this and it's story, was a refreshingly original and highly enjoyable book.
