I love watching Jake Gyllenhaal movies, so at the first opportunity -watched Guy Ritchie's Covenant.. Excellent movie! Right from the word go, I was glued to my seat, till the 1hr36min mark! Plot is supposed to be based in Afghanistan.. I wouldn't expect to see a truck with Hindu Lord Ganesha' s picture on a truck that "Pooya" is driving! May be I missed something however, either this mistake was overlooked or somehow I missed some subtlety in the movie..
Keeping that aside, movie is excellent! Keeps you on the edge of the seat from the start to the finish!
