A really entertaining ride. Full of action, chase scenes, and unexpected twists this movie makes for one of the best Scream sequels to date. They likewise pumped up the gore to 10 with some rather brutal kills. I feel this movie will make for some great rewatches in the future!

The gore and all the kills were 10/10. I love that this movie made Michael Myers scary again!

It was pretty good. The best part of the film is easily Kang. The worst parts of the film are the god-awful CGI and Modok.

A Haunting in Venice is an eerie, atmospheric, beautifully shot, and amazingly acted haunted house mystery. Easily the best of the Poirot Mystery films so far; it improves on the last two by adding a well-crafted aura of suspense and spookiness. Kenneth Branagh delivers a committed performance as the serious, discerning, and brilliant Hercule Poirot. Michelle Yeoh, like always, didn't disappoint with her spectacular performance. The twist was pleasantly shocking; I wasn’t able to guess it correctly. All in all, A Haunting in Venice was a thoroughly entertaining mystery, perfect for spooky season!

I just want to start to this by saying that I loved Hereditary and Midsommar, but I did not love Beau is Afraid. The two things I enjoyed about this movie were Joaquin Phoniex’s committed performance and the undeniable originality. However, this movie is a fever dream that makes about zero sense throughout. I honestly couldn’t explain the story if I tried, it’s just so random and thrown together it becomes incomprehensible. I’m convinced that Ari Aster made this movie with the sole purpose of being completely weird, confusing, overlong, and overstuffed with no actual story at all. Was it horror? Kinda. Was it comedy? Kinda. Was it drama? Kinda. Was it good? No… not at all. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
