Take a bow, Peter Jackson.
I felt like I was there, in the room. I felt the discomfort of Twickenham Studios, the relief of the Apple basement studio, the genius of creativity, and the love the four guys had for each other. The humour and wit, the incredible talent of not just the musicians, but all the producers, arrangers and engineers. And how wonderful was Billy Preston!
Then it ended, and I felt nearly as sad as I did in 1970, at the age of 7, when the announcement of The Beatles' breakup hit the news.
Absolutely wonderful documentary.
