The last Singing Cowboy film.. end of an era. Released barely a month after the 1st nationwide color telecast onJanuary 1 1954... the Rose Bowl Parade from Pasadena... and westerns like this were history. Rex Sings pretty much only over the opening credits, the rest a mediocre storyline. Clearly the scriptwriters knew that their day had passed.
