**SPOILERS AHEAD**
There was so much more they could've done with this movie. It seemed to be afraid to lose it's more child friendly rating, and didn't take risks to go for anything deeper than the typical "AI gone rogue".
They didn't delve deep into the young girls trauma about losing her mother not nearly as much as they should to have it be effective. There is absolutely no way a young child can witness both her parents die, and then just be completely fine and happy again with her new AI friend.
The whole concept of Megan going rogue was that she was trying to protect this young girl, but in the end she ends up turning on her anyway.
Also, the whole process of Megan going rogue and what she did, I felt like it was extremely censored. If not show the gritty gore, then show the repercussions on the victims/their families. It didn't do this.
Overall, not worth your money. Stereotypical, censored movie with the typical message about "AI will take over". And you have to squint to pick that out.
