One of those shows that are good enough to watch only to realize that the whole thing was bullshit. Its good enough for making you think every episode something crazy is about to happen and there are moments but I'm on episode 8. I'm beginning to notice this is a trend with HBO shows, good enough to find out it's bullshit in the end and a complete waste of time. However, if you do not believe me, take a look for yourself.

The movie was good up until like 35 minutes before it ended. The fight scenes at this point where very cheesy and very unrealistic. Even if I was a fan I would not give this movie a good review because of that. The first hour and 20 minutes are good, then it's down hill after that To sum it up it is worth a watch, especially for a fan, but here are a few things. They could have picked better actors for some of the characters. Also, they could have made it more realistic. For a fan I would rate it a 6/10. For none fan 5/10. Typically I say anything over a 6/10 is worth watching. For me, because I'm just an avid movie watcher who watched the show as a kid and did enjoy it. I could go many several years without watching it again.

One Word in quotes "Sooogeeewd!!!!!!" You won't even care if the lead is a female, the first few minutes you question her as an actor but before the 15 minutes in your hooked. The show takes place in the early 1700s during Queen Mary's reign, who usurped her father King James the II. There isn't anything more about questioning it's historical accuracy , if you try to make more out of it your wasting your time. It's a fantasy, period. Additionally, it revolves around politics or parliament that were present at the time, without the politics and all action. If you know the history well you will enjoy it even more because it will make more sense to you, but you don't need to know it. Powers, pixies, kings, queens, fantasy, action, drama, and comedy all nicely packed into this show. Two thumps way up!

Great movie, it's very simple and straight to the point. The action and action is good. If you like the UFC, you will like how Conor transitioned into Hollywood. I had to give it 5 stars because even though it was a bit predictable, it was progressive. Definitely with the watch. I would put this movie as a easy 6.5/10, but not below it. I feel all my 6/10 movies are good but when I rate something 7/10 and above it's really good.

I grew up reading Macbeth In Highschool and, I would envision the gritty Caucasian European men fighting with dirt in their fingernails and, blood splattered across their faces. When I read Macbeth he was insane about the guilt of all his crimes and, still had the determination to press forward with his ultimate goal of becoming king of all. This version completely changed my perception of the Classic gritty Medieval Shakespearean tragedy. For example, When MacDuff decapitated Macbeth in the story; I could picture him coming out of a fog with his hands clasped into Macbeths hair, holding him from the head and the skin drooping from the skull, grey and lifeless. In this movie many of the traditional attributes were taken from the original by making it Afrocentric. Instead, we see a Macduff grabbing him the the inside of his neck. Don't get me wrong I am POC and love Denzel Washington but, I feel as it took the life from European Culture. Plus the Sense of insanity portraying Macbeth was not present in Denzel's dramaturgy. His acting seemed almost forced and the entire cast didn't seem to be completely on board. I finished it to the bitter end and thought of a black man portraying a traditional white mans role a valiant effort but saw none of the effort. Almost as if it was his vouge reputation landed him the role and completely undermined the fact that this entire work of film could have actually been really good. In my mind I will give him as a black man a 2 star review for poor effort but willingness to portray something out of the ordinary. As for the directors and team actually choosing someone who was befitting of the role, I give a 1 star. It is watchable but you will only have your childhood memories shattered. The entire afro cast didn't even seem comfortable playing the roles. Almost as if they knew they were not befitting of them. Other than the forced acting, I think you will still enjoy it. I watched it because I am a fan of Denzel but, I don't think he felt to comfortable playing Macbeth.

The movie is clearly underated. It is a good movie just like any other good bad cop movie. I liked his vigilante ways and costume. It feels like a super hero movie slash cop movie (almost like a batman). Even thought the story is a bit predictable it remains consistent. The acting was on point from everyone so there isn't a problem there. Love that latino based and lead character. Makes and gives you a realistic feel of the diversity; everyone has their own story to tell not just white folks. Looking at the cover of this movie I skipped many times and finally watched. I don't regret it one bit.
