It's a wild ride with excellent acting. It takes a deep dive into the icons background and career. Loved the music.

For me, the violence and intensity were too much. When I turned around at the end of the movie, everyone was gone. Many left during the film, which I was tempted to do. There was no relief from the grim darkness. Phoenix is a good actor, of course, but I would not recommend the film to others.
