The plot is slow and monotonous. It relies mostly on historical events in WWI to carry the plot. The plot is so slow in fact that I felt that I was half way through the book on page 8. if it where only that dragging the book down it would be okay at best. However, the author had the audacity to make condescending "Discussion Questions" as if the reader were the stupidest being on the planet. A good work makes one think for them selves, so "discussion questions" in the back of the book to begin with is a pretty lazy attempt to get people to talk of your book. To conclude decent read of your bored.
