I genuinely love zombie stories, like massively LOVE THEM be it Hollywood production or Korean etc. So I had a really high expectation of this especially since its Netflix original. But did I enjoy this? It was okay, well no to be honest its a tad bit boring. Its not the best, not the worst. Productions, editing are amazing. Graphics are gory enough, its awesome. But plot-wise, its mediocre. This series doesnt offer anything new. Out of other Korean based production, this series is my least favorite zombie flicks. Repetitive/overused plots, cliches zombie tropes, acting is great, tho some are mediocre, some of the characters arent very likeable. 12 episodes are way too long. 6 or 8 should do with such mundane plots (repetition of bunch of school kids trapped in different areas in school moving from one location to another). While the execution is brilliant, the plots are....well I said enough. All in all the series was boring since it doesnt offer anything new in the world of zombie flicks. 6 to 8 episodes would've been gripping enough. And there are plot holes, few unexplained details regarding ie cases like Gwi Nam and Nam-ra. Also inconsistencies in the directing and casting.
