I was really surprised. I didn't like the first two films in this trilogy but Rise of the Skywalker was very different. The characters were actually filled out and managed to generate emotional connections. The plot was interesting with some unexpected twists. I'm a Star Wars fan again... I wasn't expecting to say that !
