If you're a fan of the film do yourself a favor and give this a read. You wanted more Cliff Booth? You get his whole backstory and more. He's the best character QT ever wrote in my opinion. Rick on the Lancer set is brilliant and very funny. Jim Stacy and Trudy Frazier have much bigger roles also. Tarantino just transports you back to that time and place so well. Sharon Tate and Polanski, the Manson family and Pussycat all expanded on. All the actors and films from the time that were mentioned just blew me away as well as music and pop culture. Tarantino is a film savant and a pop culture genius. All and all its like watching a four hour cut of one of my personal favorite films of all time. The crazy parts with the Manson kids breaking in Rick's house were still told but not as an ending and I really liked that. You'll have to read yourself for how this book ends. It made it a newer experience. The book goes way more into depth than the movie. Lots of passion went into writing this I could tell with every page I read. Another hit for QT.
