Short binge watch. It's like a 4-part movie and there's a real message here. They telegraph their punches so I saw well in advance how the ending would play out, except for the very final twist, which it seems many reviewers hated, but I thought it was alright. Any series that gets me to feel something or think something is art. This series is decent

This show puts me to sleep. If I'm having insomnia, that's a good thing. If you don't suffer from insomnia, you may want to try something better to entertain yourself

The show is what you would expect from Schwarzenegger, reminiscent of True Lies. I would ignore at least half of the negative reviews out there. They seem to originate from people who dislike Arnold or Hollywood in general because of their politics. That said, if you can't accept a female as a strong CIA agent, or you can't accept that there exists a gay or black character in the show, this show isn't for you. Just skip it. If you can just enjoy an action series with very simple story and occasional humor, this will entertain you for the 6 hour ride.

Not quite bad enough to be good. Here are the faults: 1) main character is whiny, selfish, rash, overconfident. He's the poster boy for Dunning-Krueger effect 2) people constantly make decisions that make no sense, such as failing to kill their mortal enemy when the opportunity presents itself 3) overly dramatic relationships. If this is how "friends" get along, who needs enemies? These people would all be better off on their own 4) classic 60 second training montage makes someone a superior fighter 5) the rules of the magical stuff are arbitrary and revealed and repealed whenever and however it suits the scriptwriters 6) every single character is wildly incompetent at completing their stated goals or the story could end in just about any episode if not for stupidity

Season 1 was decent, season 2 even better until it got really slow and boring the last few episodes. It's mature content but the plotlines and dialog are simple, like comics for kids. Could have been better but mostly enjoyed it

Could have been a higher rating but they outsmarted themselves with the twists they took. Without any spoilers, the final plot twist makes no sense at all. It's ridiculous on the face of it, and the more you think about it, the more ridiculous it is. Give them credit for moving the story along at a fair pace and creating some characters and tangential plots that were interesting

About 10 or 15 minutes in and this film is ridiculously juvenile and not even funny.

Could barely understand the thick English accents and dialect. Story moved slowly.

Great movie if you are having anxiety or other issues sleeping. This movie has put me to sleep 3 times and I still have more than 30 minutes remaining to watch! When your eyes start to get really heavy, just pause it so you can resume the next night

Highly predictable Main characters repeat the same mistakes again and again. The actress that plays the protagonist Emily Byrnes lacks any range beyond fear, anger and sadness. She always looks miserable, as do most of the characters in the show. You can have this show on in the background while you do something else and easily follow the plot. Major plot points are doled out sparingly, like one per episode. The entire plot of season 1 could have been condensed into a movie even if they had added some light moments and character development. Oh and (spoiler) Emily will zone out of reality to have a flashback and be super crazy at least twice per episode even though it serves no narrative purpose. Every time I'm like, "Great, another trip to Crazytown, yawn, let me check my social media." There are 0 likeable characters here. Zero. I kind of liked Emily's dad until season 2 he just went way out of character and became a dick for no reason. One more thing, if you're innocent of a crime like murder and you evade the police, get into violent confrontations and commit other criminal acts trying to prove your innocence, you are now guilty of all these new crimes. If you want to prove innocence, you do that in a courtroom. Big-time baloney in the storytelling here.
