I hadn’t heard anything about this movie before watching it on HBOMAX. I’m really pleased that I gave it a chance. I’m a big LaKeith Stanfield fan and this is definitely one of his best films. The star of this movie is Daniel Kaluuya, by far. From his his accent and cadence of speech, to his mannerisms, he truly captured this man’s captivating persona. I remember hearing about the COINTELPRO operation years ago and watching a documentary about it. The way they told this story really makes you feel like you are there. A truly great movie and probably my favorite movie released in many years.
