As a person who hasn't watched any other mecha anime this one was enjoyable to watch as my first. I was very interested in where the relationship between Hiro and 002 would go, I was also interested in where the story would go but kinda stopped caring about it after episode 22 or something. The show has amazing visuals and some good action scenes thanks to Studio TRIGGER and A-1 Pictures. Personally, I didn't like many of the thirteenth plantations members apart from Goro, 002, and Hiro. I am willing to be most of the people watching this show mainly watched the show for 002, but that is understandable as she is (in my opinion) the best female character in that show.
