Firstly, I have to commend Naughty Dog for crafting a game that plays as beautifully as TLOU Part 2. The controls are very fluent and the graphics are absolutely stunning. I also have to appreciate the direction they took for the story. Although the writers made several controversial decisions, it truly kept me on the edge of my seat. I had no idea what to expect moving forward while I was playing the game, which was very refreshing. It was almost as if GRR Martin wrote this story because it was full of so many twists like GoT. Thankfully, I was not bitter from some of the decisions made by the writers early on in the game. Instead, I found that the writing allowed me to experience an immense level of emotions which did not steer me away from the game like it did for some players, but made me want to play it even more. That being said, I understand why some players felt frustrated and disappointed with the game because some of decisions were so bold. Thankfully, I was not one of these players. The only part of the game I was uncertain about was that final mission you play and how it unfolds, but I suppose that was to open the door for numerous pllot possibilities in future instalments. I think if the writers wrote a story that was too predictable then it would have been less enjoyable. This is because they did not care about giving the fans what they wanted to see exactly, but they focussed on providing an original story showing it through multiple perspectives. I also thought the cast did a tremendous job through their portrayal of these characters and bringing them to life. I will definitely be playing this game again in the near future, and hope that Naughty Dog is not discouraged by the negative feedback from this game because I would love to play a Part 3. TLOU Part 2 is by far one of the best games I have ever played.
