I have listened to Saviors today several times through and overall love the album. If you’re hoping to hear a Green Day album that reinvents the wheel and rock and roll, you will be disappointed. However, if you want to hear 15 solid songs, some of which are their best yet, with a mixture of influences and some punchy lyrics reflective of current times, you’ll have a blast. I think nowadays people are have far too high standards, and in an age where rock isn’t in the mainstream so much and it’s all about the solo artists, thank goodness there are still bands like Green Day writing and recording their own music still. Enjoy it - crank it up with some proper speakers, and the magic of Chris Lord-Alge will come to life!
