First off, independently, the movie is pretty good, but if we’re comparing it to the original then it’s a no no... It was disappointing to see so many of the most iconic moments removed. That on top of there being no music or humor from Moshu the dragon. One of the most enlightening parts of mulan is the humor that Eddie Murphy brought to the screen. All in all, I wish I wouldn’t have gone in expecting to watch a remake of mulan, but just a female warrior movie.
