Spoilers ahead: The show isn't horrible. The dialogue can be a little cringey and the writing doesn't make a lot of sense at times. Like sometimes the characters do things that just doesn't make a lot of sense. For example, in season one Emma and a few others are exploring a bowling alley to save someone, they call Audrey for help but they have bad reception. Audrey only heard through the phone that "someone was bleeding and they were at the bowling alley". That's enough information for her to go to the bowling alley by herself but instead she goes to Emma's house looking for her even though she knew she was at the bowling alley. While they were at the bowling alley, two people got stabbed, the person that they saved and another friend. They both lived but for some stupid reason only one if the two people went to the hospital while the other one went home and got immidiately murdered. There's a few other moments like this but that's an early one that kinda made me a little disappointed. Also I wish the main Protagonist wasn't a hoe, and I think there's way too many make out scenes that I ended up skipping because it's stupid and pointless, I don't think there's a single episode where some of our main characters weren't kissing for a few minutes. I like the show, but honestly the main Protagonist (Emma Duval) kinda ruins it by bringing all of the attention to herself, she acts like she's the victim every chance she gets. Yes, I understand that the killers have targeted her and her mother specifically but she acts like she's the only one being attacked at times. Her best friend Brook literally lost her boyfriend, her Ex boyfriend, her Dad, her mom got sent to Rehab, she got stabbed like 4 times in the first two seasons and she came out just fine. Emma watched her boyfriend die in front of her as well as a couple other people and she gets PTSD and starts going crazy in season two. Brook suffered so much more than Emma did by season two but of course Emma has to act like she got the worst of it all. I know this is more of a rant then an actual review but Emma really tainted the show for me, I hated almost every scene she was in. It's really not a bad show, there's interesting drama, unexpected twists, and you end up loving half the cast by season two (if they're not dead). It's a little gorey but not enough to make you feel sick or grossed out unless you're sensitive to seeing blood. Overall, I enjoyed it. I don't think I would bother watching it again but if the series were to continue then I'd continue to watch it.
