Surely, this has to go down as one of the worst Assassin’s Creed games ever? No?
It’s just so.........plain.
While there are vast landscapes of beautiful scenery, it’s filled with nothing.
A deer here, a rabbit there and a poor side quest tucked away in the corner.
Talk to an NPC, walk a couple of yards, side quest complete. It’s just so repetitive and mundane.
The skills tree doesn’t actually feel like you are achieving anything when unlocking as the skills are so easy to acquire.
While the side quests leave much to the imagination, the main quests fail to equally stimulate.
You’ll either find yourself raiding a camp (over and over again) or, the quest will leave you genuinely puzzled as to where to go as they often leave little to no clue as to where to go or what to do next.
If it were not one of the first games to be released on the Next Gen consoles, I fear this may have been dubbed as one of, if not the worst Assassin’s Creed game to have been made.
