I saw the play with Kristen and Idina and loved it. I’ve been anxiously awaiting the movie for two years. I was shocked and confused as I watched this version. Were the people of OZ this mean and unlikeable? I found Elfaba and her sister the only characters to have any redeemable human qualities. I didn’t get that from the play. It was a waste of Ariana and Cynthia’s vocal talents. 2 hours and 45 minutes of too loud music and mean spirited and awful characters that put my love for this musical into question.

This is the first time I’ve seen it, movie or otherwise. I’ve seen clips of it forever. Imagine my disappointment when I found out that Julie Andrews is not in the movie version. I can’t get into it. I guess I missed the boat. There are better ways to spend 3 hours.

This move was a waste of time. It should have never been made. It’s a story that casts a shadow on Lucy and Desi that forever ruins it for the fans. The movie was totally miscast. Lucy and Desi Jr. should be ashamed for making this movie. No one should know how the sausage is made.

It was a waste of two hours of my life.
