This is like an early 1960 love story “ boy gets the girl” only real to me! Amazing it’s my time early 60’s love! I cannot stop watching. Robert is low key, self taught Sax player, the only real talent on the ( Dixie Brewster Quartet) band, but seem to be pushed aside. However, he sincerely falling in love with Sylvie and his music and love for her is all that’s really important. Until five years later and he learns of Michelle! Mona, and Mr. Jay are Robert and Sylvis’s camps, Mrs. Johnson is in a class all her own. Sylvie is a beautiful strong black 60’s young woman with a drive for the future and heart for Robert only! Lacy, married Sylvie, but seemed to be only thinking about his career. All characters were good, but Robert and Sylvie the main story line are my favorites. Their love for Michelle only cemented their love and this love storyline!
