This movie is grim and awful. The characters are miserable and shallow people really unlikable that you do not care what happens to them. I did not believe the main characters were really best friends. Croatia is one of the safest countries for female travellers and they made it seem like it is sinister. The lead comes along as helpless and another dumb helpless American . I have zero sympathy for people who get so drunk or drugged that bad things happen and they act like the victim. I couldn't watch more than 30 minutes and based on the other reviews that seems to be the right move. Do not waste your time.

This was an embarrassment for the BBC and PBS. The title is entirely misleading. This wasn't about the history of civilizations. It is a jarring back and forth, selective look at a few piece art with an appallingly bias of ultra "woke" art interpretations that are marred with ulterior motives and agendas. I suffered through, but it was neither interesting or informative. Nearly every episode put me to sleep. It is awful, do not waste your time.

This is hard movie to watch it took me years to will myself to do so. I thought it was very well done. We will never know exactly what happened on flight 93 but we know their bravery saved countless others. The movie is based on the calls we know they made to their loved ones. It took a few stops not because it is a bad movie, but because I got too emotional. Who old enough doesn't remember that morning as it was yesterday? These brave men and women's story deserved to be told to respect and remember their sacrifice. It needs to be watched. The story of those in charge also needed to be told so we never get taken by surprise and have peoples hands tied, prevented as they were from reacting as they know they should in such an emergency.

One of the rare shows that captured the realism of the child advocacy and the foster care system as well as corporate litigation. It highlights the injustice and the fustration with a system that leaves its clients with few options and rights. It never shyed away from the difficult stories and it was often difficult to watch which is probably why it didn't get the ratings and a fourth season. Gritty TV isn't escapism that people crave. The characters are all heavily flawed but very human and that is what makes them and the show compelling. It's worth your time. The acting by the guest staring kids and the main cast are outstanding.
