Watching this film was as pleasurable as being hit by a car, and I say that as somebody who has been hit by a car.

I absolutely love this series but I'm not going to pretend the original three being absolutely awful people on and off the show isn't a huge factor in my enjoyment.

This film turns its eyes to nostalgia-baiting blockbusters and says "absolutely not" and instead made a personal film that examines its cultural footprint and how the pop-cultural landscape around it is disconnected from its original themes and ideas. I think Lana Wachowski should be proud of herself.

I studied this film in my first year doing a Film Studies A Level to study passive and active spectatorship, and I loved it. The writers do a really good job at making you like Ben while also making you question his actions and morality, and Viggo Mortensen gives an excellent performance that really makes you believe you're watching a father trying to do his best. Everything in this film from the comedy to the beautiful cinematography to the excellent performances made it a joy to watch, would recommend.

Red VS Blue is an incredible and inspiring series simply based on the fact that its an insane idea that actually exists, works, is successful and has been around for THIS long. Incredible.
