This is hands down the best television series I have ever seen, and I have binge-watched pretty much ALL the best British crime shows on NETFLIX. Clearly: the production designers and casting people involved have studied the paintings and drawings of George Grosz, Otto Dix and Max Beckmann and the result is an absolutely gorgeous-looking series, with narry a jarring false note or glaring neologism to be seen. The writing, acting, and direction are all breath-takingly fabulous. Run, don't walk to see this! P.S. I can hardly wait for the third season! Sublime!
