1) Always the same CGI repeated over and over. 2) Alien animals presented without explanation of why and how they evolved that way. 3) Very superficial analysis of the science behind. And some times the science is even wrong or illogical. 4) I doubt they had experts writing the episodes. More likely they had a bunch of art graduates. As an example, we have a rabbit type of alien that to avoid being attacked by a monkey type of alien and protect their offspring places its eggs on some lianas among the trees. I repeat, the rabbit aliens put their eggs on the trees so that the monkey aliens cannot eat them. And for some reason the monkey aliens are fine with it. 5) The writers have little to no understanding of what makes a society thrive and develop. As an example, in the last episode they represent a super advance alien species that has decided to renounce to its individuality and become an hive mind species. I repeat, an advance alien species that renounce to free will to became an hive mind. Yes, the "bugs" kind of society. Is this "Independence Day" or a science based documentary?
