I loved the original so was a bit unsure what I'd make of this. So far I am really enjoying it! Yes it is different and they've made fundamental changes but it's just a modern twist. Everyone moaning about how it's an insult to the original needs to calm down. It's different, stop comparing it and enjoy it for itself. It's not taking anything away from the original which I will still happily sit, watch and love but I'm definitely going to continue watching this version too and enjoy seeing what's to come!
