Honestly the worst Shrek movie in my opinion. Possibly one of the most disappointing animated movies of all time. Completely lacks the wit and charm that made the first two Shrek movies classics. The movie also lacks good visuals, having very uninteresting and drowned out backgrounds. The humor is a lot more unfunny and awkward in this movie, including scenes like king Harold's death and the baby puking scene during Shrek's fatherhood nightmare. The new characters, Artie, Merlin, and the princesses are OK, but could've been made more interesting. The villain in this movie is Prince Charming, who is actually a decent villain. One of my personal favorite scenes of Charming is when he gives his speech to all of the depressed fairy tale villains at the Poison Apple plotting to raid Far Far Away, in order to have their happily ever after. Overall, Shrek the Third is an okay movie, and I would't call it terrible. Just don't expect to be blown away from it, like the other Shrek movies.
