This is a film that broke the low bar of Disney remakes. There was no emotional moment, as the pacing was all wrong. The lead actress, who by the way supports the oppression of freedom and democracy, is a terrible actress who presented no facial expression. The director claimed that Mulan wasn't a superhero, yet Mulan in this film had superpowers, with her only struggle being that she had *too much* of the "force" (qi) within her. There is also no understanding of Chinese culture. With it being more "down to earth" by removing the removed dragon from the animation and all the music, it somehow added a random phoenix that did nothing and a literal witch who could do anything but apparently stopping an arrow. All in all, an absolutely horrendous film. And if you watch it, you're supporting the operation of the Muslim concentration camps in China, too!
