Carole Scott – Google

Well... honestly, my favourite bit of the whole film was the sea shanty sang during the closing credits. I understand there was a lot of simbolism, and I got some of it, but as a whole the film was like a bad dream you can't wake up from. The darkness, the crashing waves, the dreadful music, the constant pirate talk, the unfortunate mermaid and that ending, all added up to an experience I hope never to be subjected to again. Sorry, I can't recommend this film, but that's just my opinion others enjoyed it (?).

I've watched this show for years and have enjoyed it for what it is, a bit of entertainment with a few tongue in cheek antics thrown in for good measure. It's not the screaming that annoys me, the dubious flying objects, every spirit meaning them harm or Carl and Stuart enticing the spirits to do their worst, it's Fred's insistence that a demon is lurking in every corner and every place has a history of witchcraft! His constant incantations to lure Lucifer into their midst beggars belief. Give it a rest Fred, how about calling for angels instead. Paganism or Wicca was connected to the land and the worshiping of nature, not the kind of evil goings on Fred would have us believe. Maybe the "demon" is really someone missing a glass of red wine and a bar of chocolate! I know that would make me cranky in the after life enough to throw stuff around. But despite all that I still enjoy it. So for all those calling the show fake etc., it does state at the beginning that the show is for entertainment purposes only, so relax and enjoy it for what it is .... a tv show . And if you're still enraged switch it off!
