The Madden series used to be a storied franchise and now it is a dumpster fire with greedy people working at the top trying to get kids hooked on buying packs and now this year new uniforms and equipment for their yard player. As if last years game was not bad enough EA comes out and makes Madden 20 expect with new “features” and a new game mode in “the yard”. The yard is boring and you really lose interest in it very quickly. This was a rushed game mode only to compete with 2ks not simulation football game coming out in 2021. You can buy equipment with real money and it is only a cash grab to put more money in EA’s pocket. As you probably know franchise is the same as it has been the last few installments of the the game. All they put for new franchise features were patch notes that didn’t even add any depth or realism to the mode because with EA the money is not in franchise it is in ultimate team and the yard. Superstar KO the mode EA added last year is also very boring and with EA spending millions of dollars to get likeness for people like DJ Khalid and the Migos all that money that could be put into fixing the game was thrown into a game mode that has a small audience and EA doesn’t market at all. To finish it off ultimate team is the same as it is every year with people spending thousands of dollars that can be put towards things in life rather then packs that are awful. EA supports this gambling with marketing kids to spend money and youtubers telling people how to build the best team possible and the sole fact is the best way is to spend money on virtual packs and bundles that give you an easy advantage over no money spent players. This horrible game is managed by one the stupidest people in the world in Clint Oldenburg who when shown that this game had a 2.0 rating he replies with at least it’s not 1. This is the mindset they have at EA they know their game is horrible and all they care about is if youtubers and people especially kids spend thousands of dollars on ultimate team to keep them afloat then that’s all they care about. When you have youtubers making videos saying how much did I spend in ultimate team this year and it comes out to 10,000 dollars or more that’s what makes me shake my head because that is the reason EA is like this they know if they just get money through ultimate team and getting people hooked on the mode then they are fine. This is the end of the review and the only thing I can ask if you if DONT BUY THIS GAME it is not worth $60. That $60 can be put into more productive things. #NFLdropEA
