I love Resident Evil, I would even go as far as to say that they’re my favorite franchise. However, the wait for Village has finally come to an end, and the game was released only a few days ago. In that time I have already completed it (under 10 hours of gameplay) and all I can say, is that it’s a rip off. For the wait that we endured, this game was severely lacking in “good content”The dialogue seemed lazy most of the time, like some characters would just repeat themselves. This game, to me, seems like a cop out of their other games I know it was a direct sequel to 7, but the game seemed like it just milked it for too long, especially with the “return” of Eveline. I came into this game with low expectations, for the fact that I didn’t want to judge it too harshly. What started out intriguing, wound up boring, repetitive, and just flat out annoying. I don’t even want to compare it to 4 or 7, mainly because they were my favorite games, and this installment, would just belittle them. Capcom... you could have done a lot better.
