Mixed review. Had alot of potential, abilty to keep the story line fresh. And While the acting was great and most of the characters had potential… The script? decisions made (mostly by Tess) were so unrealistic and blown out of proportion making the characters come off as completely dunce, don't know if that was the goal. *Spoilers* Using the victim of rape to be this superhuman killing machine? Ballsy 🙄

Im no professional reviewer for one. As bad as people think these movies are this one is the worst. The characters are so idiotic it actually seems hilarious. This makes it not believable in any shape or form. The lines are so basic, and state the obvious, nothing creative there. In any horror movie you should have that adrenaline rush and be rooting for the cast to survive the horrors. This was just the opposite.gave an extra star for a little creativity on the storyline as it was not the same exact demon/ghost story we see in many horror movies.

No movie is perfect, but you can tell alot of work went into this and Edward Norton, this is a winner. The characters ,all have a developed personalities that brings out story in its unique way and give you all the feels. Setting the story in the 50s was different but well done to Parallel Lethem’s 91 novel. Brings a part of history people are to scared to touch and explain factually... classic Gentrification and Corruption.
