One of the Best medieval shows I have watched in a while. This genre can be tricky, but The Letter to the King got me so hooked. In every episode! I loved the plot, the character developments were so good, the relationships and connections between the different characters that were introduced were really well done. It was a piece of art how the plot unfolded. Oh and the plot twist completely took me by surprise! And that's saying something considering I'm a movie/tv show buff, who most times can predict stuff as the plot progresses. So yes, the directing of this was so well done! The nuances, the emotions of characters, and how each one was interconnected into the main plot, was Genius!!
Lavinia was such a darling. I ended up loving so many characters! Jussipo, Foldo, Arman, little Piak... Then there was Jabroot and Ristridin. Heck, I even grew to like Tiuri's adoptive father. I commend the power of the director to make you love a character you hated at the beginning. Really commendable.
This is me trying to review & show my excitement of the show without really giving spoilers. One thing for sure, You will love this one!
