It rained a lot today and I'm repeatedly humming the girl's poem "water falls" written by Jim Jarmusch himself. I watched the movie 2 months ago and the first thing that came to my mind when it started raining was that poem, inspite of me having read and listened to many other rain poems/songs before. That's how much this movie has touched me in a soothing way. Adam Driver nailed it in his calm demeanour. All the poems in the movie, being elegant and realistic carry it forward. I can't remember a movie where the poems took such an important role. I'm not the biggest fans of poems, but still this movie has entertained me in its poetic way.
