The story is OK but it needs to make a choice. It's either discuss the dramatic life of the characters or focus on the scifi (and eventual war) aspect. I'd be interested on how they'll roll out the second season. There are too many plot points. They'll have to trim them down. I do find it ridiculous that during the scene where they are doing a risky maneuver around a star that they are all standing up when there apparently are seats available with harnesses. Later on when Niko is manually maneuvering through the debris field, they do strap in. I don't usually like to nitpick scifi stories but this point was just too inconsistent. Character development is good but it might be too much. Story is at a good pace. Effects are good. Looking forward to the second season.
