Absolutely awful. I am born and raised in Texas. I have to agree with all the nay sayers about this series. I too was already thinking this was awful for many reasons about ten minutes in. Inaccuracies one after another, terrain and more. Anyone who thought this was great has to be for entertainment value maybe. The men that were of that time and era were hardened men, and the fluff actors just show that diligence and research was not done to respect the story and facts! As a native Texan, wouldn’t waste time or energy watching any further after grimacing through episode one...
