This is a compelling true story that will appeal to everyone who cares about youth in Indigenous communities. A new,young,white male teacher finds his high school students challenge his assumptions of effective teaching. He recognizes the need to bring hope and fun into their lives. He finds a way to transform the lives of the students through teaching them to play lacrosse. Guided by sensitivity, integrity, and insight this film inspires us all to reflect upon the lives of these youth and our need to force a connection between our lives and theirs.
