To no fault of Phoenix he did a fabulous job portrayal the character and his laugh the right amount of creepy but his performance could not save this the train wreck. This movie was terrible he kills all of 7 people by the end I was wish I was one of the 7 he killed the movie is trash and that is insulting to trash its the joker the clown prince of crime and frankly as an origin story for the joker it was done immensely better in the killing joke. Showing what actual broke a simple soon to be father. The joker is a product of Batman's actions not the other way around, everyone and their grandmother and grandmother's dead cat knows that the Waynes where not killed during a riot it was a simple mugging that killed them they where not gunned down in cold blood by a guy in a clown mask. With the number of times we have seen, read or even been told about the Waynes murder you think they would have gotten at least that right. Finally why are we seeing the Wayne murders? In the absolute dumpster inferno that is this movie? A story about the joker and his mental health issues leading to the creation a monster in a purple suite. What they gave us was a cheap imitation that drastically missed the mark.
